Are you ready to make a difference in your community, or in communities around the world? Our club members are people of action who want to help others. Together, with Rotary, we can make a difference.
We are a local club with international ties. We meet locally in Burien with an aim is to help our local community and communities around the world.
By being a Rotarian, you are helping to build international relationships, improve lives, create a better world to support peace efforts, and end polio forever. Rotarians are also making an impact on the Coronavirus Crisis across the world. Our six areas of focus are:
- Promoting peace
- Fighting disease
- Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
- Saving mothers and children
- Supporting education
- Growing local economies
Some of our projects we are doing locally include:
- Providing warm clothes for elementary school students
- Providing diapers for children in the community
- Shop with a Cop
- Volunteering at the local food bank
- Recognizing the efforts of outstanding high school students with scholarships and mentorship opportunities
At our lunch meetings, we strive to feature speakers that keep our members informed and enlightened on the world and to connect our club with the broader community.
We are looking for members who value diversity, celebrate the contributions of all people, and would like to use their talents to solve the problems of the world. We are looking for corporate members, young adult professionals, and experienced businesspeople. We are looking for mentors, families, and college students.
By joining our club, you could make a difference locally and throughout the world. Help yourself by helping others. If you are a businessperson, we would like to feature your business. Rotary also offers the opportunity for leadership training locally and internationally.
Our dues are $220 per year and include membership to Rotary International. For young adults wishing to restructure dues, please inquire. Please ask about six months' payments.
We invite you to join us on Zoom, Thursdays 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Email us to get the meeting details.
